  • Case: Rosewood?  Looks more like black walnut.  Curved piece over dampers is clearly rosewood painted over mahogany. Legs are an indeterminant dark stain over mahogany.  Original finish.

  • Piano was used and owned for many years by Cornish School of Music, now Cornish College of the Arts, Seattle.  They sold it approximately 1970 to a Seattle family from whom the present owner purchased it in 1998.
